Bulk Trash
Numerous residents have asked about a bulk trash pick up for the community.  The previous Board had chosen to discontinue this community program since some of the residents did not follow the proper guidelines and created a very bad situation community wide. There is NO BULK trash pickup at this time.

Instead, please use the county facility at Shady Grove Road and Rt.355 for these bulk items – they take all solid waste items without any hassle and dispose of them properly.  In fact the county will come to your home to pickup some items if you call them and make the arrangements.  If you use this service and place an item outside for pick up (the day they are to come for it). Also please notify the Board so we don’t have it removed at a cost prior to the county removal.

Did You Know ...
What do I do about a dog running free in the neighborhood or a dog that is barking at all hours of the night?

Planning some home improvements?

Make sure and check the ARC Rules (en Español) and submit an ARC Request if needed. If you are not sure you can contact the ARC Committee.

Remember, failure to contact the ARC Committee can result in serious problems for the home owner in the long run.

What's Hot
Our Community Appearance Matters
We would like to have all residents embrace this thought in all activities related to this community.

Over the last 12-24 months we have seen our house values fluctuate.  Our neighborhood is an older and mature neighborhood with sound construction, beautiful, mature trees and well maintained landscaping which makes it a favorite for buyers.  The addition of an elementary school within walking distance adds that much more to the potential value of our neighborhood, but a poor appearance can depreciate property values quickly

Each of us must be aware of our own property and the upkeep needed to maintain those values – please don’t be a last minute repair hound and let the property deteriorate until you are ready to sell.  Consider your neighbors who might be selling today and how their sale price makes your property values climb for when you want to sell.

Spring inspections will soon be completed and mailed to owners – please take the time to make the repairs so all of our homes look that much more attractive.

As far as everyday items – please remove junk, trash, garbage cans, recycle bins, toys, bicycles, lawn mowers and the like from the front yard or porch – store them out back, out of sight.

Ask your children to bring in their paper trash from the ‘Ice Cream Man’ rather then just dropping it on common ground.
All of these small steps can help improve the appearance of our community.

The community has a group picking up loose paper trash but you are still asked to keep as much liter off our streets as possible. This is being neighborly. nbsp;
